line locks?

line locks?

are there any line locks that dont need any custom fabrication? i heard that with the abs you need to buy 2 line locks and rig them up to 1 switch?

how hard would it be to bleed the brakes cuz the rest of the install looks super easy

Bleeding the brakes is real easy. One person to press the brake pedal and one person to open the bleeders. Takes about 5 mins.

SLP is a direct bolt-on and simply bleed the brakes

I have bled mine several times without changing anything. Your only bleeding out a very small amount of fluid for a line lock.

My SLP kit was a direct bolt on. The only thing I did was change the toggle switch to a momentary switch so it would be NHRA legal.

You just need a momentary button. I have the B&M line lock. It came with the momentary button, billet bracket to mount the button, and fuse. You just have to bend and flare your own lines. Aslo no you do not need two line locks for ABS cars.

Radio Shack, ACE Hardware, they are everywhere. It's just a button that activates when you press it, and deactives when you release it. Just make sure you get the version that is on when pressed, off when released. They come both ways.

Any auto parts store would have the button you need. You can crimp on different wiring connectors if you need to.I believe with the SLP kit you dont have to bend any lines.

I have the Hurst and had to flare and bend my lines. I got it for $50 nib with lines. I'm running the momentary switch on shifter handle but I'm also running a led toggle switch to let me know the linelock is armed then the big red light comes on when I activate linelock. I did this cause my wife drives the car sometimes and I dont want her or one of her friends accidently hitting the linelock while she's driving the car. U know the "what's this for" and presses button.
