Good experiences with MSD opti??? I have read a lot of bad experiences with everything from the stocker to the MSD. How about some good ones if there are any. I am on the fence and I need the one most resistant to water ( LT1 in a 4x4).
I talked with MSD and they said all the problems have been ironed out in the bearing, seals, rotor, and it should be more resistant to water than a stocker.

As far as I can tell, the MSD cap and rotor kit fixes most of the opti problems. I have them on my turbo z28 and they work great. The rotor has brass screws holding it together rather than the stock plastic rivets. They also added a bolt to the cap to prevent it from warping and leaking, letting water in.
