Default what head?

i am looking to bulid a 383 but what head would work the best for it a lt1 or lt4 ported heads, and what size cam to use and compression ratio for a street car on pump gas. i was looking at the afr heads are they any good?

whoever gives the best I suppose lol.

I would call up Lloyd Elliot and Advanced Incution and talk to both of them about that and see who you like the most. Ported stockers are good enough for most people but depends what your looking for out of the car. The cam also depends on what your looking for and the quality of the bottom end.

With an M6 you would see 400+rwhp with an LE2 setup even with a mid 220's duration cam and the same with Ai's 200cc. You can definetly run alot more cam than that so ported stockers and a custom grind will easily put you past your 400 mark. Give Lloyd Elliot a shout when you get the chance I think you will be glad you did.
