Default 355 build opinions

hey guys...i got a 97 ss as you can see in my sig...i'm kind of thinking it will be worth more money in stock form down the road(i don't plan on selling it ever) and was thinking bout buying a spare lt1 and building a 355 motor. i might take it to the track like once or twice in its life, but other than that its going to be more of a street show off/HP number claimer. i'm on a pretty tight budget and this build will probably take me some time to complete. what types of parts would you guys use? i don't plan on throwing spray at it(keep in mind i said don't plan...but plans always change, haha) and forced induction is out of the question. i know most people say eagle products are out of the question...but would they be okay for me? anything else you suggest? what all would i need to make a reliable 355 that can run when needed?

Stock crank, Mahle "power pack" forged pistons, and Scat 6" rods. Makes for a stout little combo that can take some spray as well.

That's what it's in the heart of my 355.
