My PS headers also look like **** after one year and 8k miles. They went in in a little under an hour and the y pipe fits like **** and leaks. I would say the only good thing about them is the ease of installation. You definitely get what you pay for!

If you use the clamps that pacesetter provides you with its gonna leak. My y fits fine I just couldnt use the stock hanger on the trans, ground clearance is fine

Seriously, does ANYONE ever use those shitty things? I have 3 in stainless/tapered band clamps and they still leak.

Im sure you will be happy with them for awhile. If your car is a DD they will start to rust at the collector real fast and the coating will peel. I have heard stories( on this foroum about it) of the PS y- pipe not fitting at all and needing to be cut and rewelded. I also have heard many people lately have to move and or grind the steering shaft with the coated headers. Not every install goes perfect no matter what header you get.

BTW If the above happens on your set the only extra thing that needs to be done with the LPPs is the K-member and its not always neccessary.. and some just go in perfect.
plus besides being SS wich is better at retaining heat and will last for ever they are stepped(bigger) wich will make more power.

Well its your choice but I would refuse the box at the door unless you bought the emmissons headers. The Install is not much worse at all. Im not sure what everyone gets all worked up for. Getting the old manifolds off is really the worst part.

In the end the LPPs are worth it. Sorry just want to make sure your making the right decision. You can get them with y-pipe for 500 shipped Just so you know! Just ask Carl for the poor guy discount! LOL! I did and it worked!!! All in all besides a couple install issues they are worlds above anything but Kooks or totaly custom made headers for our cars.
All of you know I do not skimp out or be cheap with my car!!!!!! These just hands down were the only choice for me when deciding what headers to get. Well... it was these or Kooks but with these at 500 vs 1400 made the choice real easy and they are the best qaulity SS you can get!!!!!!!!

I have coated Pacesetter headers and they're completely rusted. the coating has practically all come off. My car is a daily driver and i'm having serious doubts that they'll even last me through winter. As soon as spring is here im gettin rid of them and getting American Racing Headers.
