Dry Sump LT1

Dry Sump LT1 Need some help on a build on putting togeather. im trying to peice togeather a dry sump setup for my 355SR. Basically were the a/c compressor used to be I would put the pump there and put the oil container were that silver tube looiking thing for the a/c used to be. Does anybody have any pics of there setup? I was planning on useing the oil pump from the ZO6 and the oil container. Imnot sure if the pump willwork or not but I guess I'll find out?.
Are all three of us from Jacksonville? I'm working on my dry sump setup, but it's for a LS engine. My setup is mostly LS7 parts. The crank, oil pump, front cover, windage tray and oil pan. I still need an oil tank and the lines for the tank. You're not going to be able to use the LS7 oil pump on a LT1.
The LS engines mount the oil pump on the bottom of the front of the engine and use a long pick up tube. LT1s mount the oil pump in the sump of the oil tank and use a short tube. You can mount the pump where the AC compressor was. I plan on putting my tank where the battery is. I'm going to cut out a circular area and drop it down so that it will clear the hood. Then, just put the battery in the spare tire area.
