Noob question about head gaskets

Noob question about head gaskets OK, I just put my passenger side head on, and I'm not sure I put the "THIS SIDE UP" part facing up. I got the gaskets from Advance, and they're labeled differently but the same part number. The one I put on was all gray and the new one was 1/2 gray, 1/2 with blue lines, so that doesn't help me remembering which side I put up. The heads on these cars can be reversed so its not like they're symmetrical. I took my other new one and laid it on my block and the only difference is how far it covers up some of the holes for the crankcase. So, IF i did infact put the wrong side up, does it make that big of a difference?
