Default Installing header gaskets?

I have done headers a couple times easy but never replace header gaskets since I have put them on the car (S) if I replace my pacesetter header gaskets in order to get a better seal all I should need to do would to unbolt and take out all the bolts and pull the header back and slip the new gasket in? No need to unbolt header from y-pipe etc. Just asking for your opinions.

Thanks,

Devin

That is what I thought b/c once I have installed them on my frineds cars then they take care of the rest since I just install the headers and tune it out etc. Thank OUTLAW!!!! I have heard the best gaskets are percy's?

I heard percys are the best but I believe I have stock ones on my car. Truthfully, when my pacesetter gaskets took a **** I ended up taking it to a mechanic to change them.lol. I hate messing with headers.

**** with a lot of WATER and good food I'll install any header well except for a 99 COBRA, that is what my friend wants me to do? I guess i'll try it. Are basically all percys the same.

IMO, for the money, I prefer Felpro 1406s. I've installed probably 8 or 9 sets of headers/heads using the 1406s with great success.

I have those Percy's 2000 degree black felt like gaskets and they are amazing. Before that I ran some expensive *** copper gaskets on my mustang.
