Default Build ?S

I have a 95 TA M6, im looking to build a engine, but am unsure what would be best for me to do that would be a good street motor, daily drive the TA. Im bout to have a stage two tranny good for 700 h.p. so im not to worried bout how much power its makes I can make the suspension and rear work to the need of the power. I want to push around 425 or more to the tires, and would like to do forged parts so if i need more power i can turn a bottle loose on it. I would like to keep the stock heads and port them and the intake out. IF possible to keep cost low. What is recommended for a daily driver hp motor a 383, 355, 396? Car gets driven to my school = 35 miles one way ( 3 days a week) and to the bodyshop i work at = 37 miles one way (4 days a week).... i would appreciate advise and also brand names that everyone prefers like eagle or scat or what have u.

I would do a scat 396 stroker kit, have the heads ported. Others on here can tell you what off the shelf cam to use, i say go custom grind.

Call LE(LLoyd Elliott) for the top end work!!! My car with a stock bottom end and Dana S60 rear in it makes 413.66 Rwhp N/A. If I kept the 10bolt in it would be around 430rwhp.

You really want a lot of power for a dd. 425rwhp isnt anything mild, it will require some good flowing heads.

I would build a 383 if you want to use stock castings. A 396 will want something like AFR's or TFS casting which you dont want to use because of cost. The resason why i say AFR or TFS is because they are bigger heads and can support a bigger motor.

I would go with a le3 or AI 200cc topend setup and a forged 383 bottom end. Use a nitrous piston and ring setup and you will be good for a 250hit. Most guys who say it will never go past a 150 shot often do, this way you will have some growing room.

Just make sure to get a good piston, they are essential in any n2o build.
