Default Installing used cam ?'s

I am currently running Mobil 1 full synthetic in my 93 Trans Am and I will be installing a used Hot Cam with about 4,000 miles on it. Am I safe to continue running the full synthetic on the first startup with the hotcam? I am assuming yes but want to be sure. I guess there will be no break in period either?

You will be fine running synthetic. I would use GM EOS as lube for the cam when installing. Just be gentle installing the cam and be clean as possible and you shouldn't have any issues.

You should be fine, break-in periods is pretty much for your Piston Rings to seat.
