LT1 to Vortec 350 (HELP!!!)

LT1 to Vortec 350 (HELP!!!) Hey guys, I need some help in finding out if this can be done or not. I am looking at a 94 Z28 camaro with the LT1 and but before I buy it I want to know if you can put a 98 vortec in with a carburetor and the HEI distributor. What has to be done: fuel lines, will the trans bolt up, can I still use the puter for trans and guages? Just wondering if its more trouble than its worth. Thanks...............Wheats

The LT1 that is in the car has a broke crank and cracked block. I have a vortec that is built for nitrous. The vortec heads are great flowing heads and I should have plenty of power with the mods I have done. The motor was originally built to go into a S10 but I ran upon this little Z and just thought it would be a better choice.
