Nose looks just fine. I just don't see any reason for a full tubular streel/CM frame under there.
At the very most, an aluminum hoop with an angled support under it.

Having said that, I've seen vids of card with no support whatsoever that do sag under acceleration.

No reason,except if you hit the wall at 100+ mph, plus no sag in the nosepiece.

I would be willing to bet it's much stronger than the factory piece.I had a friend do a left turn into the wall at 120+mph in his mustang with a similar bumper support last year with minimal damage to the car,it didn't even bend the hood. The factory piece is just a high density piece of plastic designed to crush on impact.

I'll have it on the lift Monday to fab up a new exhaust;
I'll snap a few pics while it's up there.

Dude, if you hit a wall at 100mph the bumper support is the last thing you need to worry about. :gtfo:

i didnt think of how much stronger the chromemoly would be... thats a good point... save ur motor if u get in a bad head on crash with the wall... but i just cant swing $250 on a measly front bumper support at the moment... maybe if it was $100 or $75 i would def buy it...

Thanks bro, i'd appreciate it! Yeah I agree, $250 seems a little steep for the support. My main thing is I dont want the bumper to warp at high speeds.

Ok,you trust your three strips of aluminum to protect you and I'll stick with my chrome moly bumper support.It's not just to hold the nose piece from sagging,it's for some frontal impact protection also.

Actually I think burkhart and other places are more than $250.00 on thier supports and that is without powder coating. I guess to each thier own. I did this for my car more for the impact side of it and to keep the nose from sagging also. I am sure there are things out there that will just keep the nose from sagging that are alot cheaper. I guess it is all in what you want.:D

Id buy one at $100 but I understand your time and skills arent free either. If you are ever able to afford to make them and sell them cheap, add me to the list :pimp:
