I think a LS lid and FTRA/SSRA setup would rival the LT WS6 setup. It would be interesting to see results if you could test the two head to head. I know the LS setup isnt as good as the LT but a properly sealed LS setup should be pretty close.

It has be tested. It works! You can not beat this, No curves or baffles, Just clean cool air into the intake from a pressurize area on the hood!

You must seal it to the hood to get the benefits.

Mine seems to like it fine

Not only that! After a drive during the summer if you touch the filter area its cold! CAI gets enough air but it doesnt have a ram effect on the top end the routing is not even close to straight and its alot warmer since its in the engine compartment and not sealed to the out side.
Anyone that says .1+ is not worth it, must not be competitive at all. I know if I lost at the track to anything by a tenth, Id be pissed and try to figure what I could do to win next time.

Here's the said intake setup. My car has some weight reduction of which includes removed A/C components, and washer fluid reservoir. I know there are a lot guys who have PM'd me about the setup and Im going to start a thread with some details(parts/fitment/clearancing) on whats needed. Im waiting for the weekend to throw in my clutch and put the car together; while Im at it I'll get some pics and parts for the intake setup.
