sometimes... they couldnt with mine because of OBDI but i think yours is an OBDII. so you might be in luck. in mine you can just touch the correct pins and it will flash the codes and write them down and look it up.

My car has the 3.23s with a stock stall and with 70% highway 30% in town (stop and go) I usually get 18-21 depending on how heavy my foot is. This was before my tune, and I haven't checked my mileage since then yet. 10 seems pretty low to me. Usually around 220-240 miles when I fill up (just under 1/2 tank on gauge).

I agree with checking out your O2's, also I noticed that in your sig it says cut exhaust if you still have cat(s) then that could potentially be part of the problem due to them getting clogged. I replaced the cat in my car and gained a noticible amount in mpg.

WoW You guy's get some terrible gass milage. I get 26 or 27 on the highway, and 13 - 15 in the city (depending on my mood). I dont bother to watch the mileage once I start slapping the gas pedal around.

What I'd really like to know is how low can I get the gas mileage to go...

I don't believe so. What they offer is a tool to scan for codes and do not provide live data. Find a performance shop. They should be able to offer the best prices to get your sensors scanned while they are in operation (car running).

darn near zero if your tank develops a gas leak or a siphon hose is dropped in it ...

Although since I do like to stomp on it, it usually averages 17-18 with mixed driving

When I first bought mine and drove it back from Atlantic (60 miles away) I made 26mpg going 80mph back home the whole way

Now I notice the gas gauge goes down a lot faster, but thats mostly apart of city driving and a heavy foot from going to an 4 cylinder automatic Eclipse as a DD to the Trans Am as a fun car (like a kid in a Toys'R'Us Store)

check your calipers, i was getting only 130 miles from full to 1/4 tank, bolt ons only, 80-90% city driving w/ traffic. bought 4 new calipers and it went to 160. my calipers were dragging so bad it felt like the brakes were on when i rolled to a stop

I checked mine today. I got 18+mpg with 40% highway 60% busy city driving, and I was pretty hard on her too. A4, 3.23s, bone stock other than catback.
