Many would be more than happy to pay the extra $150 for the instant gratification.

Trust me, after crawling under the car to remove the cover enough times, you will get sick of it. That and with the electric one you can open it at ANY time..

Haha. Yeah, I guess I got tired of openning mine up on my old exhaust system. Course, I kinda got tired of the noise too. It didn't sound good, it was just obnoxiously loud. I couldn't even think with it uncapped, it was so loud. I guess that's what happens when it's right after the y-pipe merge, under the passenger seat. lol

Exactly. There's a lot of perks to running a electric..don't have to get under the car, won't burn the shi* out of yourself if you want to open it up real quick if you are out rallying, cop drives by you can close it up real quick. Bolts can come loose as well. I watched my buddy dick around with his non electric and that alone right there is something I don't wanna do.

A lot of my customers run the QTP and almost all of them failed within a short time. as for power gains, we had a couple of cars on the dyno, tuned them with the cutout closed then opened it up, nothing done to the tune. We saw 3-6 horsepower gains. these were modded motors with healthy cams ect.I am sure others will tell you that they gained XX amount, I'm just saying thats what these two cars gained.

Electric cutouts are the way to go! I've a QTP and a DMH. My QTP motor ended up going out in about 3 months. I had the DMH on the car for almost a year now and no problems what so every with it... either one will work but you will love the push of a button and you have open exhaust. the car will sound like a monster with it open!!!

No kick back here... just a great product..
one could say that you can possibly have more known issues than the rest when you have MORE sold!
what you hear just may be incorrect,LOL.
products all over the world have failed due to owner neglect and mis-use however people may still attack the manufactuer of a faulty part.

Hey Elliott's94Z!
I'm sure you will like the DMH. I went with their new Low Profile E-CutOut (two for my dual setup). I absolutely love them! Opened up I gained 5hp and 6tq on the dyno. Good luck!

You can also consider Badlanz brand. I got one because they have the option of a wireless controller...you can open and close the unit from a distance. Pretty cool...unnecessary but cool! LOL! Customer service was top notch too!
