Getting in time
Just want to verify that I will be doing this the right way I dont want to have to tear it back down. Its a 93 LT1 with unvented opti. I just took the timing set off and will be replacing it with a new set. So all I have to do is line up the dots on the cam and crank sprocket, 6 oclock for cam and 12 for crank sprocket and thats it? There is no way to mess up the timing? I have studied the opti very well and I see the flat spots on the splined shaft and how it goes together so that should be no problem. The opti did turn inside a little while I was putting the little splined shaft in but as long as the shaft is in right that doesnt matter right? Thanks.
