GM designed the torque arm to mount on the transmission, a solid structure. Moving the torque arm to the crossover plate mounting points puts that energy into the sheet metal of the floorboards. How strong is that? Think it’ll flex? Obviously the OP has some power beyond the original 260 HP. Tying the left & right side of the body together, adding structural strength and providing more than floorboard sheet metal to secure the torque arm to is a wise idea.

Yea, thats why theres a ton of cars running single digets on the "weak floorboards"
So should everyone stick with a 10 bolt also?Other then that sweet parts!! Why no rod-ends thou?
ive talked to someone b4 that told me they had a problem after so many passes the floor pan started denting. never saw it though so i cant say its 100% true. nice parts by the way
