Square Port LT Headers?
34 degrees of overlap is going to be pretty crazy on the streets. I'm going to bet you will probably get some cam surge. The idle will be insane. The super high DCR will make it super responsive at any throttle position. No more 93 pump gas for you though.
This one will probably idle closer to 1200.
Not sure on the pump gas, I'll work with Ed on that when we tune it.
I don't think I'll have to pull any timing to run it, but it's entirely possible that I will.
If that is the case, I'll have to evaluate my options.
If you are using the same style DCR calculator as I have on the one where my computer crashed there's no way in hell you are running 93. 8.8:1 is the usual accepted limit of 93 pump gas with LS setups.
The reverse flow will certianly help with raising the DCR. It's just once you get the VE up if your DCR is too high it's going to detonate unless you pull a crap ton of timing out of it. At that point you are working backwards in making power. I look forward to seeing what it does on the dyno, the timing, and what gas it takes to make it run without KR.

I ended up using felpro square port gaskets, they worked just fine.
Idle is in around 1200, runs on 91octane pump gas without retard or knocking.
Put down 461rwhp though a locked 4000 stall at 6000rpm.
Should be more left in her once I'm done with the dual exhaust and finish tuning to 7200.
I'll post the final results once they are available.

Fixed the pistons and been tweaking ever since. You will see the 10's with the right air and suspension setup.

Same issue as with the Hookers or otherwise.
Should be just fine with 1-3/4", it's the larger 1-7/8" that worry me.
Either way, it will still flow, just not as well as it could.
