Default Square Port LT Headers?

Does anyone know where one might find a set of headers designed to mate with Dart LT1 heads (square ports)?
Or is everyone just using oval ones with square gaskets and hoping they stay?
(I'm guessing there aren't a whole lot of us using Darts heads yet)

Lloyd Elliott-ported Dart 180cc castings.
Now 211cc with 2.055"/1.60" valves and flow 299/212 @ .600"
(about 12% more than my LE2s did; and 16% over what Dart claims they flow out of the box)

Custom BRE grind, high 23x/24x and 34 of overlap
Details are on my Cardomain site (click sig).
Going to Ed's to have it tuned on the 30th.

I don't think LPPs are square ..
I think they were oval just like kooks, hooker and pacesetter.
(Since most LT1 heads have D-shaped ports)

LPPs are oversized too. Try and PM carl to see what he thinks. Or have someone measure the ports that havent installed them yet.

Hmm, I'll have to look into that.
I'm using my Jethots to break in the new motor, I wanted to go with something
with a stepped LT setup and try to pick up a few more HP later on.
These things are kinda beat up and I don't think the primaries quite clear the head ports in the corners.

I'm not in that much of a rush, but thanks.
If I do LPP, I'll wait on the redesign unless I find a killer deal on a set.
Still kinda looking for a good deal on a set of Kooks in the mean time.

The intake valve looks a little shrouded by the top of the chamber, but other than that those heads look super nice!

What's the chamber cc out to? What's the final static and dynamic compression gonna be? Iv'e been following your car on and off for what, 4 or 5 years now? Nice to see your getting close to tweaking the final combo. Final combo for now, that is.

I had the heads milled down to 56cc to allow quench and compression where I wanted them.
11.39:1 Static (optimal for the cam options I wanted available)
10.57:1 Dynamic (using Dynamic stroke math)

I've had this car for about 3 years now.
At first I was only going to do bolt-ons, then I did H/C ... now I'm in deep LOL
It's my third Fbody, so it's not like I didn't know what I was getting into.

You sure that dynamic is correct? That intake valve must close EARLY!

On the headers, It aint really gonna matter as long as the header is slightly bigger than the port and nothing is hanging over INTO the port.

Isnt the Hooker super comp a square port?

This is a pic from Hookers website, look at the gasket.

The DCR may be off some, but I' don't know if it is that far off. With the smallest possible 230/240 and 34 degrees of overlap you'd have to have a 100.5 LSA. With the largest possible 239/249 you'd have a 105 LSA. That's pretty crazy.

Beaflag, you're not far off LOL
And yes, the DCR is correct and the early close is intentional to trap cylinder pressure and maintain streetability.

FASTFATBOY, I didn't realize Hooker made square ports for an LT1. I'll have to check that out.
The goals being to stay bigger than the exhaust port on the head, prevent the gasket
from being cooked and make use of the anti-reversion properties of stepped headers.
If I have to use ovals, I will.
