LT1 project info...
I definately wouldn't go lower than a 112LSA
in all honesty your best bet is just picking upa new convertor, don't pick your cam based on a stall, pick your stall based on a cam. also B&M is a pretty junk company when it comes to stalls
I don't see a cc503 having a horrible time with that convertor though but it definately won't be efficient
what gears do you have now btw?

Why????
The stock b-body cam is 111. You know those Caprices and Roadmasters all have a narly idle.
Lots of cams will be fine with a 2500 stall, BUT performance wise you would be further ahead to put fresh springs on keep the existing cam and get a good converter.
If you pick say a Crane 227(214/224) or the Lingenfelter 211/219 you would be further ahead than the 305 cam.
