try putting the car on a diet, im trying to get down to 2800 pounds plus driver, so im guessing with a decent 355 and weight reduction, u should be able to hit 11s, then hitting it with a 150 shot, who knows?

thanks for the in for the info how i was planing on working with the stock heads would there be a problem with that. i dont know how much HP i can get out of them.

PORTED stock heads are the right choice for most builds, a lot of the aftermarket stuff requires a lot of work if it can even be made better than the ported stock stuff. I know that is contrary to popular belief but look at results, the stock heads in competent hands are great and even in less than competent hands are usually enough to keep most people happy.

Beef up a stock shortblock with good rodbolts and mid 11s NA should not be that big a deal reliably, no nitrous needed. Look at the times in my sig and that is fairly mid stall and gear and a pretty damned heavy car compared to an f-body, it is 1 5/8 midlength headers too.
