Default Headlight bulbs

I want to replace the headlights with HIDs or something that just looks brighter/better. Are there any good finds? I didn't see very many options out there for my car.

I couldn't find a whole lot out there when I switched mine out. I went with "HELLA" and the price was ridiculous

There's some projector housings on ebay for both the left/right and includes Xenon HID bulbs. Anyone get these before?

Edit: Here's the link... no big deal since it's non-performance right? Headlights

Yeah the options for the LT1 head lights suck *****. I just bought new housings and pried out the bulbs and put some SilverStars for a '98+ in place using duct tape. You should be able to buy the same HID kits for a '98+ car and set the bulbs inside the housings in a similar way. Alignment might be a problem.

i have a camaro but maybe you can do this for your car like i did for mine. i bought a set of euro lmaps since my bulbs don't come out. the euro lamps come with removable bulbs. i then bought an HID kit for like 200 and had it installed. big difference over stock. there was a sponsor on here who sold complete kits (ledgauges).

I used H4 conversion housings. It's easier to search for and find these housing if you look for them as "S10" lights like 1986 to 1996.

I also used Hella's 90/130 watt H4 lamps.

I also upgraded the wiring harness and used high temp lamp sockets found at Pep Dopes.

Pretty bright, pretty white.

Thats the way to go, dont put HIDs in a standard light, they are terrible. The light is not designed for a HID so it scatters and glares terribly. The standard replacement Silverstar sealed beams are actually pretty good. Otherwise go with the H4 glass conversion and the 90/130 bulbs, those are usually good enough for most
