The thin ones on the center of the door?? Those just pull off. They are held on with 2 sided tape. Its best to have a heat gun and heat them up really well to loosen the tape or you will be scrubbing all day to get whats left behind off. A stripe eraser on a drill works well for removing the sticky stuff left behind.

Grab a hair dryer and heat it up. They come off a lot easier and safer. Took me about a hour to do both sides w/o messing the paint up.

It looks so much better w/o that garbage on..funny thing is, mine didn't match the color of my car. They were a different shade red. Come to find out they are made by a aftermarket Co. and not by GM. My friends were a diff color as well.

Couldn't tell ya. I really didn't notice it until I looked real close under a fluorescent light. Im basing this off what a GM dealership told me FYI.

Im assuming GM put them on there so idiots who sling there car door open in the parking lot will wreck the molding instead of your actual door. This was the first thing I took off of my 93 Trans Am because they make it look like an old lady's car. Also the first thing I took off my 86 Camaro.
