LT1-LT4 Modifications 1993-97 Gen II Small Block V8

Any issues with relocating the computer into the interior?

Default Any issues with relocating the computer into the interior?
Just looking to clean up the engine bay and plus after gutting under the dash, i have tons of room. Has anyone done this and is there any issues and where have people mounted them?

ive seen some people mount them under the dash with no problems.

isnt the knock sensor built into the computer? forgive me if im wrong, but just wondering if thats an issue.

Sensor is on the block. Knock module is in the pcm.

correct, so as long as it's plugged in there is no issues

yes.. The pass side harness which goes over the strut tower needs to be lengthened. We basically get new ends and pin it to make a extension harness.
We removed the HVAC and it has a delete plate. We drilled one large hole in the upper right corner and pass everything through.

I will try to put a pic up later.

I just relocated mine inside did not need to extend wires on the passenger side but it is very tight and not giving me much room to play with. Will you be marketing extension connections for them instead of having to splice each wire? I am sure tons of people would be interested in it. Or making one or two to ship out custom ordered. Thanks for your time.
