Congrats, I didn't see the 8.55 pass but i did see that 8.70 pass on Saturday. That car is making some awesome power to run 169.5mph!

It looks funny without a spoiler on back, i'm sure the 169mph trap had everything to do with the removal though, lol.

You guys ever think to maybe tape up the holes on the front just to see what would happen for a run? Just the aerodynamics alone might be worth some extra mph. I know in Nascar they cover every last bit they possibly can except for cooling.

How much better is an LS1 front end over an LT1 front end at high speed?

the car has a joe van o wing carbon wing on the rear, that's why there's no spoiler. we havn't closed any of the holes on the front of the car since it's a turbo car and the motor needs as much air as it can get.

Car looks MUUUCH better, looks like it got a minitub and a good lowering job.

Bet that took some of the wheelie out of it!

Still wish you would have sold me that 408 when I had you on the hook LMAO.

Hey fastfatboy i was waiting on you to get the 408cid lt1 but the kid from tx beat you to it. I just want you guys know that madman racing co. Nick,matt,shay & my biggest weapond d.j put countless hours & alot of restless nights into big purple we still have a couple of things to do. We are going to try to make the ltx shootout i look foward to meeting all of you lt1 guys.

the turbo setup is a custom build by madman racing co. the motor is a lt1 with afr 227cc heads,jesel shaft mount rockers,carb intake,arizona speed throttle body,custom diamond pistons,oliver bullet rods,callies crank,& my engine builder converted my two bolt block to a four bolt that is just some of the parts that went into building this motor. roadtrip 120 i can pm you more info.

Awesome car, nice to see Madman still messing with fast force induced LT1 F-cars! Mike Mixon told me about your car a while back before you did this set up, sounds like you got a strong running car, be really cool to see it run at the LTX shoot out.
