LongTubes installation?

LongTubes installation? I purchased a used set of coated Hooker Longtubes and the
#1 primary slip joint is welded on. Since I have the heads
off the car I figured there would be plenty of room for me
to slide them in. Well, the passenger side went in with no
problems but Im having problems with the driver's side. The
steering shaft has been removed and now Im thinking of
removing the motor mount for more clearance. Any ideas?

Re: LongTubes installation? try unbolting the mounts and jacking the motor up a bit. are you on ramps, jack stands, or a lift? you really need gangly here for this, since i didn't install my headers...
