The best way to find the best timing for your setup would be to try different settings on a dyno or at the drag strip.

yeah but there are so many blocks to fill in lol. i was just going to compare mine to others. its been tuned several times so im not sure if its stock timing or if it ha been messed with. it feels a little sluggish down low and my 60 ft suffers bad. it was doing 8.0's at 89mph in the 1/8. my old camaro went 8.0's at 86mph. so my 60ft is lacking. because this car deffinitly makes more power. its got 4.10 gears and i run 26X10 et streets. it hooks fine. just seems sluggish. so i thought maybe bumping the timing up may help. but i dont want to get into the knock sensor. i just wanted to se what everyone else is running.

Here is some of my tunes. Ls1tech will only let me upload them as a zipped file. One is the stock spark table timing and the other is cam timing for my cc305 but is also smoothed out for better drive ability. They are for a 1995 trans am with a 6 speed and 3.23 gears so if yours is an auto and/or has different rear end gears make sure you either change the gears or just copy and paste the spark tables if you want to use it. Also as you probably know there is a compare button if you want to see the changes or differences made. Let me know if you have any questions

thanks i'll check that out and try them. mine is a 6 speed with 4.10 gears. im hoping to maybe add some timing down low to help get it off the line. it runs good on top end. but 60ft is terrible and im not spinning. i have a two step on the clutch pedal set at 4500. and it hooks and goes. but its still a high 1.7 60ft. i would think at 90 mph trap speed in the 1/8 it should be at least a high 1.6 60ft.

well i went to the track yesterday. and played with the timing and afr. and it seemed to run the best with the afr at 12.3 to 12.8 with the timing at 42 deg. does that sound about right? i just went on street tires so it was hard to tell. but the mph's went up 1.5 mph with it that way. and i did notice it was harder to get traction.
