vortech or procharger i am thinking of rebuilding my LT1 with mild mods so that i can make sure that i can pass emisions, so i am thinking of going with a supercharger. Which should i go with the procharger with the intercooler or the vortech with the aftercooler, and will you be able to hear the whine of the supercharger

■ Rear Wheel Horsepower: 394
■ %’d increase: 44%
■ Rear Wheel Torque: 449
■ %’d increase: 48%
■ 1/4 mile time reduction: ~1.3 seconds

depending on emissions a turbo setup might not be feasible due to relocation/deleting of cats and such, requiring deletion of AIR/EGR equipment as well
btw centrifugal superchargers don't whine, their sound is more closely resembling of a turbo than a roots style blower
procharger and vortec are both good brands just stay away from powerdyne
