yes you can use a gen 1 piston but it needs to be for a 3.48" stroke and 5.7 rod

*shrug* From some of the folks on here who've ran it, 150 is the borderline. I'm sure it'd be better TO do it, but doesn't necessarily require it if you don't plan to spray a lot. However, on the flip side, apparently w/o tuning for it, there's no real gain from 125 to 150. Then again, that's just word around the campfire, so take it as you will

Don't get my wrong, I'm not saying I don't believe you OR that N.O. is incorrect in their suggestion. It's actually a wiser move to do such

And Pyro, I notice you have all the necessary gear, it was just more of an off-topic but on-subject bit

I'm thinking that the heads probably could do a 200, but you'd gain much more out of it (see: worth your while) if they had some work done to them. That's just me though, if I were going to put a 200 on it, and the motor was already out. As you're going to want to put new head gaskets on it anyways. I'd suggest studs too!

I run 150. But I also have colder plugs, and my mallory box is pulling 6 degrees of timing on the jug. My only problem is the stock pump doesn't have enough ***** to feed the cam and the spray. Otherwise no problems yet. I would recommend a wide-band if you are going to spray that much, but thats me.
