That is the cutest thing a chick could say

A big block from the junk yard could be $500, but a built up one would cost in the ballpark of $6K (buddy had one pushing 650fwhp, dynoed, on pump gas for $6800), but would require so much modifying of the car to fit in there that it would cost probably double that

And "Chrome Molly" is actually the type of metal (composition I believe) and not actually chrome in appearance.

You're also not a douche bag lol You're just not up on car terminology and what it takes to do what, etc etc. Me, I can be a douche bag, ask Elliot

I noticed you live around Chicago, if you call up speed inc, they can take care of whatever you need, they are out of schamburg, you can pick up parts from them, and they can ship them to you. I ordered a adjustable panhard bar from them, and it came very fast, and they were nice people to deal with.

bwahahahaha....

Just check out some of the vendor sites you see to your right >>>
Post up what you are thinking of buying, and you'll get some feedback...

And from expirence of having gf's buying me things...(not car stuff though)
He can be the best guy in the world but don't go overboard...just pick like 2 things.... say the panhard and springs...
If you feel you must use all the money you had planned, then I would recomend the springs, shocks, and panhard....skip the cage

for around $800, assuming he is making a car with good handling and not just straight line traction this would be my list.

UMI Adjustable Panhard Bar $139
Strano 1.2" lowering springs $275
Bilstien HD Shocks (Strano Setup) $435

Dunno, but the guy who stuffed a Cummins 4BT3.9 in his 3rd gen didn't have any problems Same as the 6BT5.9 in the 3/4 and 1ton Dodge trucks, just minus 2 cyl. I'd still rather have a SBC though.
