Default Reg Mini starter in an LT-1???

I've got a couple mini starters lying around and my LT1's starter is giving me issues. Any chance you can use the mini from a pre lt-1 motor
thanks

As long as it is for a 153 tooth flywheel and clears the headers you can.

My friend's and I use the LTx mini's on all our SBC/4.3L motors. Makes things much easier, especially if you have to remove it at some point. Helps exhaust clearance a bit too.

Along with needing the right tooth flywheel, it has to be the straight across bolt pattern, not the staggered.

I want to try the Corvette's on something next, as apparently it's a torquier starter.

No, you're wrong, again. What else is new? It can be straight across or staggered.
