Default no rear brakes?

I drove my car with some snow on the ground recently and I came to a stop sign had the brakes in but my back tires kept spinning...this I sthe first time driving in the snow so I don't know if its a previous problem or new...I did just install my tune the day before...the idle was set to 800 but the tach is reading 950...any ideas?

Free line lock.

JK, check to see that your system is properly bleed, no leaks. You might want to post in the braking section for better help though.

I was thinking I needed to bleed the brakes, but thought maybe the idle not being where it should be might link to a vacuum leak somewhere?

Even with a low idle since it looks you still have a stock cam you will have more than enough vacuum needed and also if your vacuum was a problem then all your brakes would be affected not just the rears. Check for leaks and also take the rear wheels off and check the condition of the rear cali's as the pistons could be corroded and frozen open. Lastly, check your brake fluid level as if it drops too low you can get air introduced into the system and this can cause these issues as well.

If you find out please let me know, As I was driving home one of my rear calipers came off shearing the break line and the E-cable, I installed new Cal's and cable, bled the entire system. When I went to a muffler shop you know when they drive the front wheels on a ramp to slide forward, when the mech tried to stop with the rear brakes there was none, he had to use the E brake to stop the car from rolling forward. I re-bled the brakes, bled the proportioning valve all with no luck, still little to no rear brake...I will also post this on the brake section...

If you have ABS check the distro block. I had this problem and the Distrobution block has 3 gears in the bottom. Mine were ALL shattered (I have NO idea how). Replaced, brakes working again.

Coming from somewhere with snow I see it all the time sitting at stop lights or a stop sign where rwd cars the wheels will still be spinning ,

If you press the brakes harder will they stop? The power is probably just overcoming the brake force but enough to hold the front brakes not to move

im pretty sure with the brakes held to the floor they stop...i did take off the evap i think from the throttle body and just blocked it off with a cap so im going to see how the idle is with that cap off...maybe its messing with the vacuum of the idle somehow cuz im still idling close to 1000 rpms

I would get a vacuum gauge and see if you have a vacuum leak.

I'm wondering if I accidentally took off some vacuum hoses that I shouldn't have when I took my evap out
