I just installed pacesetter long tubes and i just used whatever gaskets came with the headers. they seem to be working fine. they are like felt/paper mix gaskets. idk they seem good.

I've only ever used Felpro 1406's on my LT1 builds. No problems in over 100 installs.

I have used fel-pros not bad but for the PS you have to cut out the inboard bolt holes because they are provisioned for factory manifolds, the gaskets that come with are junk so I would advise against those, the Mr. Gasket Copper ones suck and I had a hard time with them sealing so again I do not like those but the Mr. Gasket Ultra Seal steel cores are great, I got mine at Kragen for 22 bucks and they are by far the best ones that I have used IMO

some people have said, new GM factory gaskets are best?

Anyone that can attest to that?

Another vote for Fel-pro 1406's. I didn't have any issue with them and matched up perfectly. Another plus is that you can also install the header with the outer two bolts and drop the gasket in as the outside holes in the gasket are hangars.

After the first time using the Mr. gasket copper ones...will never use a different one. It works, won't blow out, reusable, very solid piece.
