Computer conversion?

Computer conversion? I'm just curious, how hard (or impossible) would it be to switch a '93 computer to a later one (preferably OBD II)?
I'm just thinking, it's probably going to be hard to get my car tuned if I start doing stuff to it.... Would it be easier to tune/get the '93 tuned, or switch to a difference computer?
