Default Identifying BBK Throttle body sizes

I've been looking for a 58mm throttle body for a while, and have come across a couple decent deals that I walked away from. I saw pictures of the throttle bodies, and they had an EO number that matched a 52mm TB (EO D 245-9) according to the CARB website.

I'm a little confused though, since I've now seen two TBs being sold as "58mm" that have this 52MM TB exemption number. Is there some error on the CARB listing, or did I actually come across two totally different people selling 52mm TBs as 58s?

You could always ask the seller to post a picture of the TB with a blade being measured by a ruler or tape measure.

I bought my car with a BBK throttle body on it, I called up BBK and they said you cannot identify the size of the throttle body without actually taking it off and measuring the diameter of the holes. I don't know the size of mine so I just claim it's a 52mm.

Hmm... Maybe the CARB numbers aren't accurate then. According to the website:
EO D-245-9
BBK #
1534 1985-1988 GM Camaro/ Firebird/ Corvette 5.0L, 5.7L
1536 1985-1988 GM Camaro/ Firebird/ Corvette 5.0L, 5.7L
1537 1989-1992 GM Camaro/ Firebird 5.0L 1989-1991 GM Corvette
1539 1989-1992 GM Camaro/ Firebird 5.0L, 5.7L 1989-1991 GM Corvette 5.0L, 5.7L
1540 1993-1995 GM Camaro/ Firebird/ Impala SS 5.7L 1992-1995 GM Corvette 5.7L
1542 1993-1995 GM Camaro/ Firebird/ Impala SS 5.7L 1992-1995 GM Corvette 5.7L

EO D-245-10
BBK#
1534, 52mm 1985-88 Camaro/Firebird/Corvette, 5.0/5.7L
1536, 58mm 1985-88, Camaro/Firebird/Corvette, 5.0/5.7L
1537, 52mm 1989-92 Camaro/Firebird/Corvette 5.0L
1539, 58mm 1989-92 Camaro/Firebird/Corvette 5.0/5.7L
1540, 52mm 1992/93 Camaro/Firebird/Impala SS/Corvette 5.7L
1542, 58mm 1992/93 Camaro/Firebird/Impala SS/Corvette 5.7L
1543, 52mm 1994-97 Camaro/Firebird/Impala SS/Corvette 5.7L
1544, 58mm 1994-97 Camaro/Firebird/Impala SS/Corvette 5.7L

So my understanding was a #1544 58mm HAD to be stamped EO D-245-10...
Argg! I don't want to pass up a good deal, but I also dont want to be a [lollipop].
