Kinda need more info but I'll try. Decent forged piston and a set of I beam rods. Have a machine shop look over and maybe assemble you bottom end, it's stregnth and attention to detail durring assembly will determine how long you engine will last. Lloyd can help you with final compression ratio but he's going to need to know the cc's of your piston choice and your deck height. How much NO2 and what sort of ET's are you looking for?

im wanting to spray a small 125 shot so i dont want to go all out on the bottom end. i was thinking of leaving it alone and just upgrading the pistons, rings, and maybe rods. im wanting about 400whp on motor and 500whp on no2. im also wanting to hit low 11's or really high 10's...what piston should i be runing w/ my setup and do i need I beam rods?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that timing set is compatible with '95-'97 distributors and '95-'97 cams with the longer dowel pin.

It will fit but may require some modification to your timing cover. The thicker gear creates clearance issues with the crank position sensor. I went with a billet single roller, others have made the double work. I'm not familar with the 93 engine setup, you may not have an issue at all!

The Cloyes double roller requires the use of a 95+ timing cover (preferrably a 95 without the CPS, but a 96 will work), an electric water pump, and deletion of the water pump drive gear. You may need to clearance the timing cover on the inside for the gear/chain to fit.

Only OBDII cars have the crankshaft position sensor; 93-95s do not.

I am using the Cloyes 3146 double roller.

ok i managed to save up close to 2000 and im gonna put a start date on my lil project 5/8/09 ill start to take the engine apart. I just bought some forged speedpro pistons and decided to go w/ a 355 setup. iv bin doing alot of research and understand alot more than i did a month ago. 1 lil thing im still lost on. I don't know exactly what rods and piston rings to go w/. I don't want to use the stock Pink rods that come w/ my car i was thinking of buying the SCAT 6" rods. by upgrading to bigger rods than the stock 5.7 am i gonna run into any problems? and what would be the benifits of going to longer rods if any?
