You're fine as long as they dont touch the primaries. Im running cheap Oreilly brand wires with my painted pacesetters and they have been fine for the last year.

I made that statement too short. "From what I have heard..." better?

And it does happen so how do I know not what Im talking about?

Put heat sheilding 'jackets' on the wires around the boots and where they are close to touching the headers. This will protect them from burning/melting.

Well im running msd 8.5's (i dont need them i know, i got them with tr6 plugs for 115) and while the motor was out i ran them super close to the block like the old ones, basically drilled out all the hangers so they fit better than stock even did. So im really not even close to the headers.

I would have gotten LPP's if they hadn't dragged *** releasing the 1st batch.. I eventually found the sickest deal on Coated Pacesettes and just went w/ those.

If I ever need to replace them (who knows if I'll have the car that long) I'll get LPPs.

I agree with what everyone else is saying Pacessters are the best bang for your buck. Get the ceramic coated though.

From what I have read not "everyone" has said Pacesetters. LPP's are hands down the header to buy for the money.
