you're only 18 and you've got a car that can pull a Z06? be veryyyy very careful, that's a good way to get yourself and other people killed

Come on guys, age doesn't have anything do to with it. I know 30 yr old guys I wouldn't trust behind the wheel of a 225HP Mustang.

Oh so very true! But awesome job on takin down the so called "Superior LSX", LTX all the way baby! lol

I am only 19, gotta remember that these cars are 10 plus yrs old and are alot cheaper for us youngsters to get ahold of. 10 yrs ago we would probably be driven 305 TPI 3rd gens lol

Yeah thats exactly the point i was trying to make! I know people much older than me that plain and simple cant drive. With experience comes skill but some people just dont have what it takes, and some do.

There is almost zero power diff between a Z28 and an SS. And a C5 z06 has a diff motor and tranny from an LS1 fbody and vette. Do your homework

Stupid phone, meant LS2 or LS6. If it was a true Z06 it was the ls6, not LS1....

c5 z06's are rated at 385hp a few years and then 405hp in the most recent modes I believe.. Much more than 305hp z28 or 320hp ss or 327hp ss slp ls1

Yea ive heard of them 1-2-3-6-7-9. Ok so the 01-02 SS just had the LS6 intake? Or did all z28's and SS's in 01-02 have the ls6 intake? I was under the impression that the SS's had the LS6 motor. But like i said im young and still have some learnin to do. So the Corvette had slightly better flowing heads and higher lift cam? As for the trans : ya they are different but if both are six speeds are they not geared the same, also as for rear gear are they not the same either? Sorry for :

The Trans Am, Formula, WS6, Z28, and SS cars all have LS1 motors and all '01-'02 F-Bodies received LS6 manifolds from the factory. The C5 Z06 has an LS6 motor which is essentially an LS1 with better flowing heads and a slightly larger cam in a car that weights ~3100#. They trap 115-118mph stock and throw down 350-360rwhp. My buddies dad trapped 118mph bone stock with a 12.2 or 12.3 ET, nasty cars.
