oil plug torque

hey guys, im gonna change the oil for the first time on my lt1 today. what's the torque for the drain plug? Also, do you simply hand-tighten the oil filter? any tips?

thanks guys.

(i went with chevron 10w-30 oil)

Same with the filter. Hand tighten it and I usually put about a half turn or so with a filter wrench. Make sure you prefill the filter a little and rub oil on the rubber seal before you put the filter on.
