i have mine welded in just under back seat just before axel. there is a little cubby hole that was like made for it. lol. If you want a video i dont have the link, but i have one up on youtube. just type in 96 formula firebird exhaust and it is the one created by 96 formulabird(the same name i have here). or if u dont find it that way its the one that looks like its of the dash. the first part of video is through magnaflow then you can hear me open the cutout. only had headers on in that video for like a week.

I have mine pretty much under the passengers seat. I'd love to keep it here, but I'm guessing when I get longtubes it will probably get moved back...or replaced by two.

counted out, why would it have to be moved when you get longtubes. i had mine in before i had long tubes and its still there now. the only way you would have to move it is if it's in your y-pipe. mine i had welded into my magnaflow catback just after the y-pipe.

When I had my shorties, mine was right after the Y-pipe merge. I wouldn't suggest putting it there. It's entirely too obnoxious. It also sounded like crap. The only time it sounded decent was at 3k+. But, it did sound like a Nascar at WOT. That's the only thing I miss about it. But, I wouldn't dare drive around town with it uncapped.

That's at stock height too. It looks a little lower than it actually is because the car is on gravel - so the wheels were probably sinking down a bit.

I would hope it was sinking down more then a bit. Any plans on lowering the car?

I would like to lower it, but I need to see how the traction is going to be at the strip. The car will not be drove aggressively on the streets, so I'd like more of a drag/daily suspension - doesn't lowering do the opposite?

Sorry if that sounds stupid, I haven't read much into suspensions except for a couple stickies.
