i would go with a yank 3600or 4000 depending on how well u personally can deal with the stall... yanks and vigs r the best but from my expirence and what i have heard yanks give the best equal advantage in top end and low end.... they launch like a ************ but dont lose as much top end pull as other converters....

with that being said i have a SS3600 yank with my bolt on only car... never even taken a valve cover off my motor and i run that stall and with no regrets at all..

Although I have lifted the valve cover, the Yank SS3600 suits me well @ 3900#'s.
