Default Delete rear 02s?

I need new 02s and was wondering how I could just delete the rears. Is there a way to do it without a tune?

Most supporting vendors carry O2 simulators. Just plug them in in place of the old O2s and you're set.

Last time I check o2 sims were ~100 bucks. For a little more, you could get a mail order tune and delete all of your smog stuff and have no codes...plus the ~10 hp would be nice too.

Right, but the OP said he didn't want a tune.

I know, I was just stating, not arguing.

i just put longtubes on and ORY and just left my rear o2's plugs ziptied out of the way, but im getting all my emissions stuff tuned out so that is ok for me. i have a set of universal o2 sims i will sell you with o2 bungs for 60 bucks. they are universal, so you would have to splice wires together, but thats no big deal. i was going to use them on mine, but i need to get all my codes tuned out anyway cause i dont got air or egr or anything else emissions anyway. so i dont need them. i might even let them go for a little cheaper too.

I was just trying to find the most economical route...

What would happen if I just unplugged them? Or what if I let them hang?

If you just unplugged them, you'd set some codes for the inactive rear o2's, but other than that, nothing would happen.

So it wouldn't affect performance? I don't care about the codes. I'll eventually have a tune down the road.

No, the rear o2's only monitor the cats, they have no affect on performance whatsoever. Just unplug them.

The rear-rear one/s? Well, there's a trick I found on a forum, yet haven't been able to try on anything yet due to not having anything with a rear O2 that needs it deleted.

The rear O2s detect if the cat is working right and basically are there to compare against the front O2s. If the readings are too similar it throws a SES code for you to replace cat/s. So really all you're trying to do is get a different signal than the font O2s. Where if you have no cats, you'll have the same readings, so what these people did was put in a spark plug Anti-Fouler in the O2 bung and then put the O2 into that. It apparently got the sensor out of the exhaust stream enough to change it's reading, and prevent the SES light It's only like a $5 part and they're in the "HELP!" (by Motormite or something) area at the parts store. Or just go in and ask for one. There's a Tapered and Flat end, I'd go with the flat one. Only part number that jumps out at me is something like 42002 :\

HAH! Here ya go! Even on an F-Body site
