You will need to jack up the motor enough to allow clearance to remove the pan. Unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the motor enough to clear the oil pan.

What I've read is those jacking the engine off the mounts as high as it will go in the engine bay to yield enough clearance. I have then heard of those using a wire hanger to maneuver it past the rotating assy. I've then read how much of a royal gold plated pain in the *** it is to do so, but it can be done.
The only advice I would give is to use a hoist to reliably raise the engine off the mounts.
