egr block off

i rebuilt my motor this winter and im about to put it in this weekend and i thought about getting rid of my egr. will it make more power or is it not worth it. it if it worth it, what do i need to do and will i have to get the computer programed so its not making the check engin light come on

Won't be worth any power. It's more for appearance. You'll need a tune to have the SES cleared. You'll also need to buy/make a set of EGR block-off plates.

ebay has a nice set of plates, no really worth any power like previously stated but will unclutter the engine bay some and make intake and header removals easier
