Anyone know...

Ok so I was gonna search, but I have no idea what to type to search for. Anyone know what the hose does that comes from the waterpump to the lower drivers side radiator on a 94 Camaro? I am about to try to block off the ports for the heater hoses on the WP and I can't figure out what this other hose does. Any help would be much appreciated!

That hose is not really necessary. It connects the lower radiator port to the WP, in cars that cam equipped with an oil cooler, the cooler connects that radiator port to the WP. I removed my oil cooler and heater lines, I capped off that lower radiator port and capped off all of the ports on the WP, leaving only the two radiator hoses connected. I also have a 160 stat and my fans were re-tuned, so I never run hot.

Oh sweet. Thats what I was lookin for. Did you thread the WP and put in plugs or what? Also, what did you do about the port on the radiator where the oil cooler line goes? Thanks!

Well getting the unused WP ports welded would be ideal. I just capped off all of the unused ports on both the WP and radiator with bypass caps and clamps. Works so far.
