Same rockers I am running. Had to trim a little with them. I'm running some Ebay chrome valve cover instead which were basically the same height as the stockers.

Running mid 11's with my "hotcam" lol Lots and lots of weight reduction and decent suspension helps.

I am looking for driveability as well as performance. Did anyone install the cam themselves? What had to be done?

I installed my CC503 cam, Crane dual springs kit, Comp Pro Mags, TF guideplates, ARP rocker arm studs, and TF pushrods myself. I clearanced the inside of my stock valve covers.

Best off-the-shelf cam for driveability and performance is the CC503 hands down IMO.

If you want you could also look into a custom cam from AI or LE.

AI puts out some much better cam kits. Good packages like the LS1 guys get. Check it out.
