Default First ever track times!!!!

Hey everyone. i just ran my car tonight and made three passes. the first and the third pass the time clock and all that was not working correctly. but the second pass i ended up running a 13.4 at 100mph w/ a 2.06 60ft. also my slip said i had a .399 reaction time. Tell me what you think and maybe what would get me into 12's. Granted this was the first time ever i have been down the strip. so that run i would say is not bad for only making 3 runs in my life lol. i want more i want to go faster now. i guess this is how it starts for most people lol. Let me know what ya think. Thanks

i would say you are running on parr! i was thinkin your mph was a bit on the low side but you are an A4....if you had great traction it can also give you a bit less MPH but a better ET so i say good run

GEARS will fix that mph! (depending on what your current ones are) might even get you into or extremely close to th 12's

Pull the spare, jack, floor mats, anything loose, and the front swaybar. I drove for years with no front swaybar and never had a problem. Do all that plus get an electric water pump and some gears and you should easily see 12's.

gears have always hurt my mph. Just get a looser converter and go mid to low 12's easy.

it doesnt matter if you sit at the lights for .000001 or .999999... your going to end up with the same times..

i usually have a slow reaction time... (almost a full second)... but i like to get my launches right..

if im racing someone next to me that i care to beat.. (not a pro mod.. ).. ill leave as close to the green light trying to cut a .1000 or better..

yeh i know that it will still give you the same E/T but i was proud of that considering that was only my second run ever. and 6Speed i already have the spare, jack, backseats and seatbelts out of the car. not really planning on taking anything else out. Also yeh i was thinking gears and stall. i have factory 3.23's right now and stock stall. that second run i was sitting on the convertor the most i could which is about 1200rpms because anything higher it would have started to roll the tires over lol. and im pretty sure they would not like that at the line.

Stall and DRs will get you 12s. Add in gears and weight reduction and you will be comfortably in the 12s.

Get a stall, it was the best mod overall for reducing my E.T.s. 2nd would be M/T drs.

slicks and a stall took my car from 13.8's to 13.0's....3200vig, dont go any smaller than that. Good first runs though!
