Default Changing oil sensor

I have 1996 z28 and need to change out the oil level sensor. It looks really close to the cat, is this going to be problem ?

It's not close to the cat, it should be at the back of the block like this:

He's talking about the LEVEL sensor not the PRESSURE sensor.

You should be able to use an adjustable wrench & take it off.

I was about to say the samething but forgot there was a cat on that side on a 96

Yes there is a cat there, but even so, with the car up on jack stands, you should have more than enough room to remove and replace the sensor. Don't forget to drain the oil first.

I am hoping there is enough clearance. It looked pretty tight.
Guess I will know for sure on the weekend.Waiting for the parts to be delivered.
