LT1 problems I just got the car tuned Thursday. The brakes never were the best but since then they seem even worse. The car also has a high RPM (5800) miss in it before it shifts. It also fouled #8 plug the day right after getting it tuned. SO I changed all the plugs, now gapped at .035, (had them at 0.32 when it got tuned) so I'm thinking the gap is too big. Any ideas?
You could be bouncing the rev limiter too before it shifts. My '94 T/A would hit the limiter before it would shift at full throttle. Had to feather my throttle just right, i.e. stomp it almost all the way to full throttle to avoid it :-p I eventually tuned the shift point higher.
