Default Ever heard of this?

Anyone ever heard of a LT1 transplant in a 98+ FBODY?

I know your saying why, but maybe your converting from a v6-v8, and you found a good $ of an LT1.

Thanks

There are some superstock cars with LS1 bodies on them and LT1 engines.

I read that some were a while ago.

But far as people swapping an LS1 for an LT1, never heard of that before.

There have been 1 or 2 V6 owners on the "Other" site that have done an LT1 swap.

But for all the work, time, and money they could of sold that V6, bought a used LS1, and sill be out the same amount of cash with ALOT less headaches.

I did an lt1 swap in my v6 camaro. Whats the point in selling a v6 when they aren't worth squat? The swap wasn't that hard either. Was a good time to put some fun internal parts in it as well. If it matters i weighed in at 3515 with me in it (180) and 3/4 tank of gas.

We were talking about an LT1 into a 98-02 body, hence a completely different motor compartment built for either a 3800 or an LS1. Of course an LT1 into a 93-97 bodystyle wouldn't be hard. That car is built for that motor.
